iPod Linux Works!

After realising that my iPod Video fund, to replace my iPod Photo, was empty.
I turned to my nimeases (spelling!),
iPod Linux.
I hate it, too much hard work.
It was a few months ago I tried to install it with great pain,
I got Linux running but never got as far as video.
Put now after a update it looked nice, video with audio!
So I tried it out, found a Mac installer! Which is good because last time I had to re-format my iPod to windows!
Installed it, and within a few hours of installing it, i was running videos!
But only the sample videos, I havernt yet mastered the act of the convertion.
But I have wrote an apple script so when I plus my iPod in it will update my videos from iTunes.
But (x3!!) once again thats pointless if Linux can’t read it.
If anyone has a simple way to do it please comment!
Thanks.

Google Talk Released

Sepulation over a IM from Google has been answered.
Google Talk was realeased today, It’s fresh new client is good and it support audio chat and gmail.
But thats about it, no display pictures, no webcam feature & no version for Mac OS X or Linux.
Apart from all that its pretty good, and syncs easily with Gmail.
Whats good news for Mac and Linux users, is that it runs with iChat and other popular IM Clients (But only audio chat supported with Google Talk).
This is only a BETA thought, so there is a lot to look forward to.
All you need to get started is a Gmail account, which for the US will find easy because it is now open for all USA residents,
But not so easily done in the UK or other countries, so for now, ask gmail users for a invite or you can search for a website that gives them out (But do it quick because they are getting shut down one by one!)

Me? I will use Google Talk via iChat, simply because its Google.
I think if it was a less popular service it wouldn’t stand a chance.
